Disadvantage and Advantage in Delhi University Admission?

Every student has a dream to get admission in Delhi University. But this is really amazing to hear Disadvantage and Advantage category in Delhi University admission this time for undergraduate courses. What is this advantage and disadvantage category? lets us:-

Disadvantage Category: In this Group, if a student want to take admission in to different subjects than he had in 10+2. For example a students had completed 10+2 from science stream and now want to take admission in to art stream or commerce stream and vice-verse. As well as for choosing different subjects, there will be a loss of 5% in 10+2 class's marks.

If he/she will choose a different subject in same stream, he/she didn't read in 10+2 then it is also comes in disadvantage and there will be a loss of 2.5 % in 10+2 class's marks.

Advantage Category: In this category if a student apply for local languages like : Punjabi, Bengali, Udiya, Urdu, Sanskrit. If a student already had one of these languages in 10+2 and wants to do graduation with it. Then he/she will have a discount of 10% in cut-off. This will be applied in all DU colleges.
